Hello everyone,
I'm struggling with getting reports to work in Service Management module.
I'd like to pull a custom report 'SLA met vs breached' but all I can see is message 'There are no series in this report'.
I don't have button 'Add Series' like described in the article: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/create-a-new-custom-report/
I have SLAs defined in the project settings.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
Thanks!
Hi @Przemysław Olszewski and welcome to the Community!
There are some major UI changes in Jira recently, so the documentation isn't always 100% up to date with how things look.
Click on Edit report first. The button to start adding series should appear near the top right corner after that.
Hope this helps!
Hello @Walter Buggenhout
thank you, that works!

If you’re facing the “There are no series in this report” message in Jira Service Management reports, it typically means the report configuration doesn’t match any issues, either because of filters, SLA selection, or missing data points.
If you're open to trying a more flexible and user-friendly solution for SLA tracking and reporting, I recommend SLA Time and Report, an app developed by my team. It can help you avoid such errors and gives you much more control over your SLA data.
With SLA Time and Report, you can:
✅ Generate ready-to-use SLA reports without complex setup
✅ Visualize SLA performance with Met vs Exceeded (breached) charts
✅ Filter reports by assignee, priority, status, or even custom fields
✅ Monitor SLA progress in real time with visual indicators
✅ Add SLA widgets directly to your Jira dashboard
It’s a great way to ensure your service desk reporting is always clear and insightful.
Let me know if you want help getting started. I’ll be happy to assist! 😊
Regards!
