Send an email to assignee based on custom date field

Is there a way to automate sending an email to the assignee once a custom date field (Next Engagement Date) is reached? When the date to engage next = current date that is.

Hi @noor_farjad and welcome to the community!

Yes.  You can do this with an automation rule:

• TRIGGER (Scheduled): Daily

  • "Next Engagement Date" >= StartOfDay() AND "Next Engagement Date" < startOfDay(1)

• ACTION: Send Email

Can this be done without the code? I was trying to create the rule from Project Settings > Automations > Rules

Yes, it's all just a configuration.  Your rule is literally just those two steps.
