Hello,

The "Resolution: set" under SLA definitions; can you explain exactly what this means?

Its not related to the status of resolved/completed is it?

Thanks.

Last time I looked, this was referring to whether the resolution on the issue was set or not.

Jira considers the resolution field to be the done/not-done flag on issues.  If the field is empty (in the database), then the issue is not resolved, and displayed as unresolved.  If any value at all is in the field, the issue is resolved.

That's what "resolution: set" means - a value has been put in the field.

@Musab Qureshi -

Hi Musab:

Welcome to the community.  "Resolution" field is referring to the JSM issues.  It is controlled via the WF, where when you move the issues into the final status (i.e. CLOSED/DONE), this field is then populated.  By default the value will be "DONE".

In your SLA - "Resolution: set" means that it is testing for the resolution value .  NOTE - Resolution options list is controlled at the system level.

Hope this helps.
