I have a Service Space.  My understanding is that's the only type of space that allows Requested Participant.

If a issue comes in via email and someone is CC'd the become a requested participant.  I can add others.

If no one is CC'd that field is not visible in the right side in the issue and I cannot add a Requested Participant.

Hi @Mike Behr

When viewing one of your work items without the requested participants showing try clicking Configure on the bottom right of the page to configure the layout (or you can edit the request type via project settings) and look at the work item view tab, from there check if Requested Participants is under the Hidden when empty fields sectionif so move it up to the Context fields section and it should show even when empty after that. You'll have to do this for all your request types that can use requested participants if this is the case.

Hi Mike,

Yes, that is correct, the Request participants field and functionality is only available inside Jira Service Management projects.

You can see more details on how this works in the Atlassian page at: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-request-participants/, which explains how agents can add new request participants to work items.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Kristian
