Hello,
we have a problem with some users when it try to create a new ticket. When the new ticket pop up is open, these users see their account id and not their username.
With the account id their can't search other username in a customer.
We have checked the permission but seems are ok.
Has anyone encountered this problem before and how did they fix it?
Thanks a lot.
I have not seen this. Have you inspected the user to ensure their name is well formed?
Hello Jack,
the user's profile, as well as others who have the same problem, have no problems with the form of the name.

So you start typing a Customer’s name, select it and the it changes? If you complete the process of creating the issue what appears in reporter field?

No!
Maybe I explained myself wrong .. in case the account ID is displayed instead of the full name, I have no possibility to search or select other names. It does not match users already on Jira.
Conversely, if I test a user who has the name displayed correctly, I can search and select names.
With the account ID I have no possibility to search within Jira for the names that are present

We fixed it.
There was a problem with the Global Permission -> Browse users and groups. The user groups (jira-servicemanagament-users) could not browse the users because, due to a restore made by Jira, the jira group was there by default servicemanagament-restored where there were no users inside.
