HI Team,

We would like to understand whether read-only access profile users can add comments and download attachments from the existing incident or request [both open & closed] in JSM?

Hi @Ashok Murugesan

How do you mean, customers or users with a Jira license and granted access to the JSM project.

If you are relating to customers, they can see there issues from the portal and can add comments on theses issues, the same applies for users who are added as Request Participants.

Also attachments added via the portal or in an external comment can also be downloaded by the customer who reported the issue and the customers set as Request Participants.

Please elaborate more on your question if I'm not providing the right information

Hello @Ashok Murugesan

What steps did you follow to create a read-only user profile? Can you provide links to the reference documents you used?
