Hi everyone,
In a Jira Service project, I'm working with a Board view to track and manage tickets.
I’d like to know if it's possible to add filters based on custom fields (both select lists and text fields) directly in the view.
I have a custom field called "Accès possible ?" (type: Select List - single choice) with values like Yes / No
I’d like to filter tickets in the board view using those values, just like we can with built-in fields like Request Type
I’m also wondering if it’s possible to:
Use text fields as filters, and have the filter options automatically reflect new values entered in tickets
(so if someone enters a new value in a text field, it would instantly appear as an available filter option)
My goal is to make custom fields (whether dropdown or text) usable as filters in the board view, with dynamic behavior.
Is this currently supported in Jira? If not, are there known workarounds or apps that enable this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Welcome to the community.
This is currently not possible, you can only create quick filters on the board. They will show results based on the values used in the tickets.

Nope, requested doesn't means it will be implemented.
