Hello,

This question is for the free cloud version of Jira.

Following this guide: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-an-open-portal/

When I set this up customers were able to send anonymous requests without any issues. Recently Jira is requiring them to login to review their requests and emails sent to the user(if they get sent) just say "User responded [******].

Under the Global Settings: Settings > Products > Customer Access: "Allow Customers to Create accounts" is selected and "Customers can access and send requests from the portal without logging in" is checked.

Under the project settings: Customer permissions > Service Project Access "Anyone allowed on the customer access settings is selected.

All customers are still required to sign in.

Thank you for your assistance!

@Nick M Welcome to the Atlassian community

When you set it up as explained in the directions the users will still have to enter their email address to access the portal.  As stated "An account will be created for them depending on the account type configured in the customer access settings, and they will need to set a password and log in to the portal to view their request."
