I am using the request language field. I use English (US) as default and as Arabic is not a supported language, I use English (UK) for our Arabic people. I have made in the English (UK) language translation to Arabic. I use the Request language field to find the user language, but there is no differnce between English (UK) and English (US), Both give the response English. How can I solve this?
"English (US)" and "English (UK)" are locales that are more relevant to formats for displaying dates, numbers, currency, and other regional formats. Apparently, the related language is English in both cases.
Would it be complicated to configure a different language, like French, for your Arabic people? It's not ideal, but at least it wouldn't look like "English."
Related, there's a feature request for RTL language support from 2008. I wouldn't hold my breath, but you can upvote it.
Thanks for answering. This is an option, but the benefit of English is that not word you can't translate e.g. select in a dropdown list, will be in English which is more common then French or other languages. That is trhe reason I opt for English.
