We had to migrate our domain and it changed our IP on Sept 12-13 and it impacted receiving all emails for a short period of time. While that issue has been resolved, we are still not able to receive any email notifications from Jira. All of the settings and notifications appear to be correctly set up and we were receiving notifications without issue prior to the IP issue on our end. We are also still able to receive emailed requests into our Jira Service Management project, but no email responses or updates are being received when added to a ticket.
Having read through various other community questions/answers, I am wondering if there has been a block put on our emails by Atlassian, due to the fact that during our email outage the other day, any emails coming from Atlassian wouldn't have "found" the mailbox. Is this possible? Are there any other suggestions as to how to resolve this issue? This is issue is system wide- not just one or two users. No one is receiving any updates from any of our Atlassian products.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Hi @Elizabeth Jeffs,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Yes, Atlassian will add emails that bounces to their suppression list. This has happened to some of my users, and you would have to contact Atlassian support to have them check and remove emails from that list.
Hi @Mikael Sandberg ,
Thank you so much for the response and confirming that this might be what the issue is. I wasn't sure where to even start initially! I'll reach out to Atlassian support and see what they say.
Thanks!
