Need to know where to start with script runner

I have found numerous sites/pages/videos on using script runner, labeled as "for beginners". However, nothing that I've found so far, really seems to actually start with the absolute basics.

Can anyone please guide me to true beginner's information on how to use script runner?

We also have training videos for beginners.
