Hi all, need some help. Can anyone please tell me why I cannot or how can I get my Version Report to look like what I want it to look like? See examples below:
Expectation:
vs - Reality:
How can I make this last report (which is useless like this) to look like the first one?
Thank you in advance for your help! Appreciate it :)
As far as I know, these reports look at the Resolution field to determine if an issue is done. Perhaps your completed issues are in a done-category status but they do not have the Resolution filed set. So please check this.
If you can't do it and don't want to struggle with this Jira report, a solution would be to search the Atlassian Marketplace for an app that provides this type of diagram report.
If you are willing to use an app, our Great Gadgets app offers a Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget that displays a chart like in your report.
Scope = Total Story Points
Burned = Completed Story Points
To use this chart all you have to do is to configure it with a filter or JQL that returns the issues from your version and set the Start date and the End Date of the release.\
Hope this helps.
Danut.
Hi @Norberto Margetic and welcome to the Community!
Update the start date of the release on your reality screenshot to Sept. 10th or something like that.
The release's start date is now set to May 2nd, but it seems as if nothing moved until early September.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Walter Buggenhout thanks a lot for your feedback. This work has actually been in progress since May and more than 307 Story Points completed have been completed more than 85% of overall completion.
Thank you
