Hello Team,
I’m currently using Jira without any issues, but I’m facing a major access problem with some of my co-workers.
Although I can log in and work on the project, my team members—who belong to a different organization—are unable to log in to Jira. They are using the correct credentials, but Jira either loads indefinitely or redirects them to another site and shows an error.
We are all collaborating on the same project, but they are not part of my organization’s domain. I tried to give them access, but the system shows the following message:
“Your Jira administrator has not yet configured this contact form.”
The issue seems to be related to user permissions or organization restrictions, and I do not have admin access on the Jira account to manage or invite them properly.
Could you please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible? Ideally, I need guidance on:
How to allow users from outside my organization to access the same project
How to assign admin rights to my self (if needed), or
How to contact the current Jira administrator (if one exists)
Let me know if any additional information is needed.
Hi @Mrityunjoy Maitra , are these individuals intended to be licensed users of the app or defined as Customers with portal only access? If you go into system settings > user management and search for one of the users then view details what access details are shown?
Hello Jack,
As asked, not all individuals on our team are licensed users — we are currently using a Free Tier Jira Account.
While I have Project Lead access, the rest of the team members are unable to use Jira properly. When they attempt to log in using their credentials, they are redirected and experience continuous loading, eventually resulting in an error.
Regarding user access, I’ve assigned roles as per their responsibilities:
Members
Viewers
Admins
Some users have multiple roles depending on their involvement in the project. I also have the necessary permissions to modify user roles if required.
For your reference, I’ve attached relevant screenshots showing the access configuration and the issue users are facing.
Please let me know how we can resolve this or if further information is needed.

Hi @Mrityunjoy Maitra , I don't have an answer for you and possibly there is an issue with your instance. However, I can offer some next steps. I suggest discussing this with your Org admin if the issue persists. As an org admin I would:
