Moving the search button to a "google like" search bar

Hello,

I would like to move the search button to the top of our portal page. Its only a frontend customization, not changing what the search button purpose.

Is it possible to do that without using an app from the marketplace? 

With only frontend code customization by an Atlassian expert. 

If not, do you have any proposition to make this working?

Welcome to the community!

To  answer your question -  Its not possible to move the search icon as Jira doesnt provide customisation of the search functionality. However you can have additional Search functionality added in the Page header by using Atlassian dev platform such as Forge
