Moving an Asset from one type to another object type

Hi, we have imported 300 assets incorrectly into Tablets, when they should have gone under Phones. 

We have tried to change the Type of Device, but it still shows as Tablets, which is incorrect.

Is there any way to move them without having to remove everything from tablets, reload tablets, and then load these assets into Phones?  As that appears to be a very clunky way

Currently that is not possible, but there is a suggestion to add this feature, see JSDCLOUD-10000, that I would recommend that you go and vote for and follow.

So you option is to filter your tablets based on create date, remove the ones just cretaed, then import them again in the right object type
