Modify severity based on custom field

Hello,

I have Custom field (Select List).

For example: Select 1, Select 2.

If Select list is set to Select 2 by customer, I want that severity field automatically selected to Sev-2.

Is this possible?

Welcome to the community.

You can achieve this via an automation rule.

Create a new rule on the project.

• Trigger is Issue Created
• Issue Field Condition - select your custom field and select the value
• Edit Issue action - select severity field and value Sev2
