Migrating a JSM project from one Cloud site to another Cloud site We have two Atlassian Cloud sites:

We have two Atlassian Cloud sites — one that has a JSM (ITSM) project and another that has a Jira Software project.

We want to move the JSM project into the Jira Software site so both projects live on the same site.

1. What is the recommended approach for this Cloud-to-Cloud migration?
2. Will issue history, queues, SLAs, request types and portal settings be preserved?
3. We cannot find the "Copy product data" option in our admin console — is this a plan restriction?

Hello @Rithika 

For this migration, I highly recommend using Atlassian’s built-in Cloud-to-Cloud data transfer tool (admin.atlassian.com > Data management> Data transfer) instead of a manual CSV export. It cleanly copies your JSM projects, queues, SLAs, and attachments over without overwriting existing data, as long as the destination site also has Jira Service Management enabled.

Keep in mind that automation rules and email settings won't carry over and must be recreated manually. Also, because your destination is on a Free plan, watch out for the strict user/agent limits during the migration so the copy plan doesn't get blocked. If you cannot find the data transfer option at all, double-check that you are logged in as an Organization Admin.

Hi Rithika - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I recommend using the Revyz Command Center for Jira app in the Atlassian Marketplace. Using the built-in Jira tool duplicates a lot of configuration in the target site last I saw.
