Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help or ideas on how to solve the following challenge:
We’d like to provide a mobile phone number that our customers can use to send either an SMS or similar and have that automatically create a Jira ticket. (CLOUD)
Has anyone implemented this kind of use case?
Do you know of any solution or tool that could help?
Thanks in advance!
Ootb there is no solution for this.
I know of an app on the marketplace that provides SMS to ticket, its called Omnichat for Jira Service Management which supports SMS.
You could review this app and go over the documentation on how this app works and what the imapct on your instance or customers is.
Hi, @Humberto Gomes
You can use addititonal tools for such task, like IFTTT, for example.
I installed it on phone and use it to receive SMS and send it to Telegram. But there is vast list of actions, and Create Issue in Jira is among them.
So, you can configure it to catch SMS and make issues in your Jira based on data from SMS.
