Request issue type need to link with an existing Epic up on Request ticket creation based on the business unit field value

If I understand you correctly, you have a mapping of Business Units and Epics? How long is that List of Epics?
You can create an Automation rule with a Lookup Table that represents that Mapping or - if the Epics follow a certain Scheme or have the same BU linked you could even find the Epic based on field values and then link the trigger issue to that.
If you give us a little more info into your use case and the Epics you want to link, we can probably provide you with a template for a rule.
