hello.
We are implementing a Service Desk Project with a Knowledge Base that should be available in German and English.
We are aware that Confluence, does not support multilingual content, so we have created different pages with the same content with different languages, but now when. a user goes to the customer portal, then they see the same information twice.
The question is, can we display specific content or spaces based on the user's language? There are a couple of solutions that create a macro to choose the language, but the default is always chosen by the project admin (in this scenario, me) and not the language that the user has in their profile.
I greatly appreciate any help provided.
Regards,
Hello @arturo_perez,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
When linking a Confluence space to a Service Management project, all pages will be available for all customers and it won’t be possible to restrict or limit the search on the portal based on their language.
There are feature requests suggesting improvements for that:
Please, click on vote and watch on both features to receive updates from our product managers.
For now, the best option would be to add the articles of each language in different categories, so when customers access the portal, they can select the one with their preferred language.
Kind regards,
Angélica
