At the moment, we have clients accessing our knowledge base articles to access further information for our product. I am currently unable to access the customer portal, as well as the internal platform for knowledge base articles.

Reach out to you Jira and or Confluence administrator to provide you access to the portal and Confluence.
This the community, an open public forum, we can't assist in granting permissions to Atlassian instances and project and/or spaces in a product within an instance.

If you are the admin of the project, or even better the Jira admin, when you got your Project settings > Channels & self service - do you see the Confluence space that is having the pages the clients are are accessing? What does it say in the section Who can view?
