Jira used to have a keyboard shortcut “e” that allowed you to edit the ticket and assign it to someone, which would then open an editing window. Now, when I press “e” in a work item, nothing happens. How can I set up or activate this keyboard shortcut?

Hi @Antonia

The "E" shortcut seems not be working due to the *New Jira issue view* is active in all instances.

For the New Jira issue view, this shortcut is no longer being used and this is a expected behaviour since the issue is shown directly on the screen and you are able to edit it.

Now, you can't disable the *New Jira issue view* and get the "E" back to work.

Also, you can find more information about this feature in the following documentation:

The new Jira issue view - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/the-new-jira-issue-view-938040503.html

See also JRACLOUD-90965 , but I don't think this will be fixed, due to the new issue view.
