We have a need for Kanban Board styled solution to be used in Jira Service Desk. This would be used for prioritising tickets without having to go through each manually but rather drag and drop, just like the native Kanban Board option available in Jira Software.
We are running Data Centre version of Jira Software. This would be used for Business type projects
I have found a plug-in that appears to do the job: Comala Canvas for Jira

Hi Gibson,
There is nothing to stop you from creating a Kanban board for a service desk project. In fact it's a great idea. Is there some limitation or something you have run into?
Cheers,
Susan

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your reply. My understanding was that this was not a feature available in Jira Service Desk. If this is incorrect, can you please direct me to a kb article on how to set this up in Jira Service Desk? I have not been successful in finding anything so far and any assistance with this would be appreciated
Thanks again
Simon

The above links indicate to me this is not natively possible from Jira Service Desk

Hi,
Did you go to Boards and try and create one and select project and select your service desk project? That's what I did.
Cheers

In our instance of Jira Software this is possible. In our instance of Jira Service Desk, this is not available. Please note, we are using Data Centre, not Cloud hosted

By the way, there is no on-premise version of Trello.

You can also join the Trello Community under Atlassian;

Ummm - if it's just drag and drop , why don't you try Trello ? I find it pretty simple and to the point.
It is also an Atlassian product but a miniature form of JIRA.
