Jira Messages in Slack jumps to random message not the latest

I'm using the Jira app in Slack and very happy with the Message integration. But if I read all the messages go to another app within Slack and then back to the Jira app and click Messages, it jumps to a random spot in all of the messages. Often it's two of three days back in time. Why doesn't it go back to the where I left off?
Only if there are new messages it won't go back to older messages but it displays the unread messages.
