Jira Expression, Scriptrunner validator, Is Comment Internal?

Is there a Jira expression syntax that allows me to check the type of comment entered on a transition screen. In different scenarios I want to check it is internal or a Response to Customer is a JSM workflow.

Hi Tom,

I can confirm that, unfortunately, it is not possible with the Jira Expression Framework to check whether a comment is internal or public.

This is because in the Comment property, as documented here, Atlassian doesn't provide a visibility parameter that can be checked.
