JSM form fields do not appear when creating requests in Slack

JSM form fields do not appear when creating requests in Slack

I cannot see any of the fields in my JIRA form when I attempt to create a request through Slack.

The Slack integration is working fine. However, only Jira fields appear in the drop-down options.

How can I get the fields in the Jira form to show up in Slack?

Hi @ikenna,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Currently Forms is not integrated with Slack, so the only way you would be able to get the Forms fields to appear in the Slack form would be to add new Jira fields to the the request form and then link them to the Forms fields. There is a suggestion to add an integration to Forms, JSDCLOUD-10922 that you can vote on.

Hi @Mikael Sandberg , thanks for the information. It's a real bummer to know that forms aren't integrated with Slack, as I feel that forms provide a lot more flexibility when building out requests. I will add my voice to the enhancement request you shared above.
