I recently created (Jan. 7) security levels tied to a space in JSM.
I added the fields to my space's associated screen and even request types.
An automation rule was created to add specific security levels to certain issue types.
The rule worked upon the submission of new work items.
As of yesterday and today (Jan. 21 and 22), I no longer see the security level field in the space any longer. My automation rule is now throwing a fit over a step I have to edit the security level field.
Is something going on with this field?
Hi @Jennifer
Can you use the the find my field and see if the field is still present?
it's in the 3 dots -> actions menu) -> Find your field.
Also check if the security config is still there.
Regards
It indeed seems the field is not on the screen(s)

The field shows to be there. I also see a padlock on the issue. When I hover over that it shows the security level that was applied. I thought I'd see an actual populated field on the issue that says Security Level: IT Restricted.

In Jira cloud its the padlock. In server, it was a field.
If that answers your question, please accept the answer!
Have a great day!
