I have configured a blank screen for workflow transition, and add a Field has been modified Validator to make Field Comment should be modified during the transition.
But it doesn't work. Customer still can transition without any comment.

The custom field seting in screen will not show in the customer portal. I still can't request customer leave something while transition.

Well it depends on the type of custom field. There is a post in the Community that discusses the supported types but I could not immediately locate. Too, it might be out of date.
