JIRA Automation Rule

Martin Quezada
October 15, 2024

Would this be the correct way to target the service request type 'emailed request' in JIRA automation for a IF statement?

First value* (required): issue.Request Type.name

Condition: equals
Second value: issue.Request Emailed Request

I removed the brackets due to invalid HTML according to JIRA

Thanks!

Hi @Martin Quezada , would you not simply use the issue fields condition as below?

Hi @Martin Quezada

You can directly use the Request type = emailed request in the automation conditions.
