Due to limitations in Jira's built-in reporting tools, I export a list of tickets from the 'Issues' screen each month and perform my reporting in Excel.
Each month, I run a JQL query: project = <projectname>, which provides me with all tickets for my project. I then export the data by selecting Export > Export Excel CSV (All fields).
The issue I encounter is that the column for "Organization" changes location month to month. One month it appears in column AX, the next in column AK, and the following month in column DH. I don't think it's appeared in the same column twice since I've been doing the report.
Could you help me understand why this column position changes each time? I'm sure it's something I'm overlooking, but it’s becoming time-consuming to update my dashboard each month to reflect the correct column.
