Issue Activity mention

Hi Atlassian Community,

Hope you well.

I have some problems with mention on issue activity.
So here's the chronologies :
- 1 of my team before can mention people's or customer on the project issue comment.
- But since this week she can't mention people's or customer on the issue comment.
- I think there's some error or there's update features. So, I tried to mention people's on the Issue comment, surprisingly I can mention people's and customer.

- And my other colleagues tried to mention people's and customer on the Issue comment and they can. (their role on this project are same/equals)
- I tried to look some settings and option about this but I can't find it.

Why this happen? and how can I fix it?

Thank you

Hi @Harrica Rion,

The ability to mention people is linked to Jira's global permission Browse users and groups.

This is granted via Jira Settings > System > Global permissions. Users need to be a member of one of the groups assigned to this browse users and groups permissions. Otherwise they cannot access the user list.

Hope this helps!

Hi Walter,

Thank you for reaching me out.

For permission I just checked and the permission same.
this user are have same roles like others, and all the permission based on the roles.
I don't know why only this 1 user account can't mention people's.

Thank you
