Is there any better way to change Issue Type?

Hi everyone!

I am wondering if there is any better way to change between Issue Types. We are following the steps I shown below, but it is not something ideal for us.

1. First we are going to the ticket we would like to change the Issue type amd press the 3 dots in the right upper corner of the screen --> Move.

2. After that we have to follow 4 steps before we can change the issue type.

Either by going thru the 3 dots or clicking on the issue type icon, the action will always be considered a "Move".

This is because you will need to validate and migrate certain fields over.

Fields can be limited due to the context of an issue type and also the statussen will need to be mapped to the ones in the new workflow. Therefor it will always be considered a Move action.

You can click on the Issuetype icon if the workflow of the "to" type is the same otherwise you have to use the Move. In the issue detail view at the very to is the breadcrumbs where you can click on the icon.

Thank you for your reply. 

I will take a look into the workflows then. Maybe I can have 1 workflow and make it easier to change between issue types.
