Is there a way to require that field be filled in on a Company managed Kanban Project

I know how to add a validator to require that a field be filled in before an issue can be transitioned to resolved, but what if it is a Company managed Kanban Project? I want to require the fixed versions field to have a value before the transition to resolved is allowed.

Hello @Vicki Stanfield 

Yes, you can add a Validator to the transition to Done to require the Fix Version field. It doesn't matter that the project uses a Kanban board.

That type of change to a workflow for a Company Managed project can be implemented only by a Jira Administrator.

Hi Vicki,

Validators in workflows work the same for all project types for Company-managed projects. Just edit the workflow add the validator like you would with other project types.
