I am writing a Form to contain different troubleshooting tips to show up depending on radio button choices while the user works through the fields, I would like to embed images into these conditional info panels,
how can I do this?

@MichaelC -

It looks like Atlassian is still trying to build into the ability to add images to the FORM product against the CLOUD env.

As you can this outstanding enhancement ask - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-9486

As far as I know this ability is currently available only for the Data Center env.  https://confluence.atlassian.com/proforma/adding-images-to-forms-1087521544.html  In the meantime, it was briefly opened for the Cloud env as a beta functionality (I am not certain if that was the case or not, because it is not there anymore).

My recommendations are as follow -

1) Contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to obtain further updates on this functionality.

2) In your current FORM design, insert  public accessible URLs point to your images in your FORM configuration which you can instruct the user to click on the URL link to see the images.  I know this is not ideal, but it is a possible workaround for now.

Hope this helps.

Paste the url to a publicly available image like this:

![Name of image](https://example.org/link/to/image.jpg)

or

![Name of image](https://example.org/link/to/image.jpg)

However it has limitations:

Early Access Feature

Support for images within forms is in Early Access. It has the following limitations:

  • Image Hosting:It is not possible to upload an image directly into the form, the image must already exist on another page/site.
  • Accessible:Please ensure that the image is accessible to everyone that will fill out your form. e.g. it is not saved on a Confluence page only you can access. A simple way to check this is to try loading the image URL in your browser incognito mode.
  • Excluded from PDFs:Images are not included in any PDFs generated from the form.
  • Clicking an image:When viewing a form, clicking on an image will display it full screen. This does not affect the contents of the form, as the image can simply be closed; however, it may seem like strange behaviour to a user.
