We'd like to use Jira API to automate one of our ticketing tools. one of our use cases require us to add multiple labels to an incident. I was wondering if there is a limit on the label count for a Label/tag fields in Jira.

Hi @moran_alony , not sure if there is a limit. UI seems to limit the display when adding more than 55 labels: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-76583

I would suggest to try working with other fields to easily categories issues as labels cannot easily be maintained.

Hi

@moran_alony

Using  Colored Label Manager   you can add new or existing labels to many issues .

More functionality that can help you get the job done.

1. Visualize your labels with at-a-glance quickness to save time and avoid mistake - Make your issues more colorful

2. Edit, rename merge and delete duplicate, misspelled or wrong labels without having to go through each issue
