Is it possible to lock down specific Jira Asset Attributes so they can't be changed?

We're using Jira Assets as our Asset Database.  Objects have attributes like serial number, assigned user, location, model, Purchase Order, price, and so on.

I want to enable my techs to update the records when assets are assigned - they should be able to change the Assigned User, Location, and Status.

However, I don't want them changing the Serial Number, Purchase Order, model, and other key static data.

Is there a way to lock down certain attributes so they can't be edited, while still allowing other attributes to be updated?  Really need a checkbox in the Attribute Editor that allows me to set an attribute to Editable or Not.
