Good morning,

Is it possible to implement a process that will validate if a field is completed before the status can transition to the next phase?

Example:

Calls require Due Dates when it will be attended, once the call has been attended by the FST we can close the call. If the “Due Date” field is still empty it reports on the daily JIRA report on calls with missing due dates.

I want to find out if it is possible for JIRA to verify/validate that the Due Date field contains data before a call can be resolved?

if you are using a company managed project then you can edit the workflow and add a condition or validator to your transitions. If you are using CMP and need assistance setting this up please let me know. You will need admin permissions to edit the workflow.
