Hi,
I’m working on a service project where creating an Epic automatically generates four child issues. These child issues have predefined fields such as Story Points, Assignee, and Priority, which are set automatically upon creation. However, when I remove the Story Points column from my view, it only disappears for me and not globally. Can this behavior be controlled by an admin or is it managed differently?
This is personal setting, view options are stored in your user cookie and are therefor not global.
This can't be managed on global level, this is personal to any user.
Hi @Marc - Devoteam
Thanks for the quick reply. the story point field shoud be removed globally as per my requirement. members in my project can't remove this field individually since they are business heads. so i need to do it globally. is there any options that suits my requirement please suggest me.
Thank you

No there is none.
If this could be done globally, then it would impact any project in the system, and this would not be a solution as other teams might want to see this information.
Other question, why does it need to be hidden?

Hi @Marc - Devoteam
Oops, that's okay.
I don't need this field in my project. that's unnecessary. I don't know why it created a default field (Story points) in the child issue. can we restrict that if it possible ?

Then remove the field story points from the screens used on the project.
make sure the screens are not shared with other projects, as this will impact the related projects as well.

I mean global in the sense, it should be hidden only in the respctive project, not all projects.

I don't use story points in the screens. it created by default when the child issues are created.
