Hi, In JSM cloud how can you auto add people cc'd in an email initiated request to the request participant field?  When using Rovo to research, the instructions are outdated.

Hi, thanks for shares.  Unfortunately the article didn't give instruction on how to setup the jira project/space to add cc'd individuals in an email automatically in the request participant field.  Thank you.

@RJ Foltz

There actually isn’t a specific toggle for this, it’s driven by your project's sharing permissions.

If you head to Project settings > Access > Customer permissions and look under Customer sharing, you just need to open those options up (like allowing customers to manually enter or search for emails). Once that's enabled, Jira will automatically pull CC'd people in as request participants. Just remember that if the CC'd person is a brand-new external user, your global customer access settings also need to allow new account creation.

Thank you.  I've updated the space(project) setting and will test.
