Improve Jira's Quick Filters with optional radio vs checkbox functionality

Quick Filters currently function as checkboxes, meaning each filter adds an AND operator. While I see its usefulness, I rarely need to use Quick Filters in this way. Rather, I keep having to deselect a filter and then select a new filter—just to change a filter.
My suggestion is to switch the default functionality to radio buttons, similar to old-fashioned car radios with push buttons.
The current checkbox functionality could be maintained by using a modifier key when applying the filters.
