Import option unavailable

Evan Guetzlaff May 30, 2023

Hi,

I am trying to import objects from a .csv file but the import tab isn't available when selecting the "Configure object type":

How can this be enabled?

Thanks!

Hi @Evan Guetzlaff,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You are looking at the wrong configuration view, the one you included above is for the object type itself, you need to go back to the schema view and then select Schema configuration, here you will find the import function.

Thanks, @Mikael Sandberg ! Is there a(n) way, rule, or automation that can be set up to duplicate custom objects to the default Jira Services assets?

For example, when a new custom object is created, I'd like it to be duplicated to the Jira Services object list with a linking relationship.

It depends on what subscription plan you are on. JSM itself does not have a rest endpoint that allows you to create a service, so you have to be on JSM Premium or Enterprise in order to get access to Opsgenie and then you should be able to do it via the Service endpoint. I haven't tested it myself, but a similar question was asked earlier about doing bulk import to services.
