Hi @Vyshnavi S,

If you cannot solve this by using Issue Statistics or Two Dimensional Statistics gadgets of Jira,  I'm pretty sure that this can be easily achieved by using the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.

If you consider our app as a potential solution, please contact us at support@stonikbyte.com and someone will get in touch with you for setting this up.

Hope this helps.

You could try also the Issue Statistics gadget of Jira, which displays the count (and percentage):

Hi @Vyshnavi S,

In your second image, the statistics seems to be by Labels field. Try configuring the Issue Statistics gadget to use Labels field instead of the Deployment Environment field.

@Danut M _StonikByte_ no the first screenshot is just an example there is no feild as row labels

Vyshnavi S May 8, 2024

the feild is deployment environment only where it contains clients

OK. And why isn't the Issue Statistics gadget good enough for this? Maybe because it also shows those percentages, which you don't need...

But why is the Pivot Table gadget not good enough for this?

Hello @Vyshnavi S ,

if I understand your request correct, I would suggest:

  • Create a filter in Jira to query for the exact issue types matching your desired output, e.g. "type in (Story, Bug, Service Request, ...)"
  • Save this filter under a name, e.g. "Dashboard Issues"
  • Instead of a two dimensional gadget use e.g. "Issue Statistics Gadget"
  • Apply the saved filter as the source of the gadget, not a whole project
