How to use asset in team-managed project?

Hi there,

I'm trying to create a new request type for team-managed project.
I want to add a new field to select an asset, but there are no assets in “Create a field”.
Can't handle assets in team-managed project?
If you have any documentation related to this, could you please let me know?

Hi @Naoki 

You don't need an extra app for this, this can be done ootb.

You will need to create a custom field first, make sure the context is set that it can be used in the Team managed project

Then on the Request Type in the Team managed project, you can search for the field or use the link Go To the Fields page and choose the Custom Assets field.

So you can't create such a field from the project directly, but you can use Customs Assets field in your requests within a Team managed project.
