How to update Reporter field?

I need to change the 'Reporter' field under 'Details' tab and according to Jira I'm not able to even though I have Admin Access, can you guide me on how to do it?

Welcome to the Community.

You will need to have the JSM project's Admin access by adding yourself as the project's Administrator role.  Afterward, you should be able to update the Reporter field by accessing the issue via the browse project issue UI (Note - this is not the portal issue UI).

I am assuming you are asking to change the existing reporter value of an existing issue.
