How to set permission to view specific groups or requests ?

Is there a way to set permissions or another method to control who can view specific groups or requests in the portal ?

Hi Gal,

In Cloud, you cannot restrict request types (or portal groups) to groups or project roles.

This question has been asked before and none offer the proposed solutions answer the requirement completely.

Not even third-party apps in Cloud can manage this, unfortunately.

• Creating separate projects is not a valid workaround
• Hiding request types from the portal is not a valid workaround

That's surprising. I think this is trivial to have some restrictions on groups and requests.

Hope Atlassian will add it.
