How to make attachment field in request form, optional or mandatory based on previous list selection

Hello Lovely People,

I am working on creating a request form, I have used a single list selection, where there are some values and now based on those values, I want to make the attachment field mandatory or optional. I do not seem to have found the right solution yet, even adding Forms to this request type is not much helpful.

Does anyone have a better idea, of how to perform such an action?

As mentioned in the picture above, with the selected option, I want to make the attachment field mandatory.

Forms will support attachments in the near future, the public roadmap is showing that it is slated for Q4 2022 at the moment.

Do you think, there is any workaround available to perform this task? It could be possible I am not aware of that.
