Hi there!
We've recently started using "Assets" in JIRA to track the hardware components that we ship to clients.
To improve our customer support process, we have linked a specific object ("Scanner") to our customer support request form, so that all scanner-objects that we created appear as a dropdown for the clients to chose from.
To avoid mistakes, we want to limit this list to the particular scanners that are linked to an organization (if someone from Org A fills out the customer support form, they should only see scanners linked to Org A). We have created an "object" for organizations that we link to the scanners in the object schema.
Here's where I get stuck:
1. How can I have multiple "Asset Name" fields in a JSM request form? After I add it once and link it to the scanner object, I cannot select it again and link it to another type of object.
2. How can I build a logical if>then connection between two linked assets in a form? I.e. that if the field Asset Name "Organization" is set to Org A, the dropdown list for the field Asset Name "Scanner" becomes a sub-selection to only show scanners linked to Org A?
We use the Cloud version on a Standard plan, but are currently in the free trial phase of the Premium plan (where Assets is available).
Thanks a lot in advance!
