arti_b_patil

Hello
I have created asset object for object type " Devices".
For "Devices" object type, i have added attributes like Name, expiry date, vendor, location, department and Status.
i have created 4 status added those in status from schema settings.
when i am linking my status attribute with attribute type as status, post that i see all various exiting status in dropdown at time of creating an object.
is there any way we can filter this status and only show one created in that particular schema?

HI @arti_b_patil ,

Within the attribute settings you can limit the amount of statuses that will show, but you can't show only one status in the dropdown on creation, you will see them all.

Kind regards,

Rudy

Hello @arti_b_patil ,

The status attribute can be assigned the options you need within the object type you want to configure. For example, in my screenshot, the status attribute only has two values available to select when I created an object (Absent, Active). That same status attribute within my object schema has more values for other object types.
