More and more of the space of the screen on a issue is cluttered by unwanted features. The latest in the list is "Playbooks" - beside the useless white space all around the items hiding the real important thing: The data itself
HI @Jochen Betz ,
If you product and project admin privileges, you can customize.
1. Screens can be customize by going to the product admin screen. There you can edit each of the screens belonging to your project.
2. There is limited option on what you can remove. Playbook is one that you should be able to. Here's the documentation. In the same area where you can add or remove visibility, you can see what you can remove for your desire visibility.

Thank you @Benjamin for your valuable input. I had no playbooks defined, so I was surprised to see the feature anyway; and there was no way to remove it.
It's also not possible on the "screens" to remove the feature.
I found a solution in the feature list of the project to remove it.

@Benjamin It looks like the option to disable Playbooks within Features has been removed. Is there any way to remove the option from the issue view now that it can't be disabled?

Hello @Dusty Brossart I have just checked on our instance. The feature to disable it is still there. What I don't understand is, why it has been enabled again !?

Hi @Jochen Betz
That is very odd! I manage a few different Jira instances, and two of them don't have the option to turn off Playbooks under Features, but one of them does. They are all Jira Premium, so I'm not sure what the difference is. 🤷
