How to create references from Services to Assets objects

How to create references from Services to Assets objects

Hello

We are noobs that just started using JSM and would like to setup a CMDB using Services and their related Assets.

The article How services work with Assets in Jira Service Management mentions that you can set up services in the Services panel and then create references to Assets objects, but it doesn't explain how to create those references.

Please help.

Hi @Paul Heath Armengol ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you set up an Asset object that references a Service you define in the Services panel (that gets created in the read-only Services schema), create an attribute that references the Services schema.
